Don't even get me started on the quote "So I listened when our opponent defended his unconditional support for unlimited abortions and he said he said that a woman shouldn't have to be 'Punished with a baby,' " Palin said as the audience jeered at Obama. "Ladies and gentlemen, he said that right here in Johnstown. 'Punished with a baby.' It's about time we called him on it." Unconditional support for unlimited abortions? That's a bit of spin if I ever heard it.

Um yeah, that is spin. Saying "punished with a baby" was dumb though. That said, teens don't have the same ability that adults do to reason out their behavior and understand the consequences
before acting. This is why they still need a lot of parental support, especially in this day and age where life is so complex. Parents not teaching their kids about birth control is irresponsible and can contribute to pregnancies and STDs that could have been prevented. That is what Obama meant. He said it badly though.
Nowadays with self-checkout a teen can grab some condoms and check themselves out without the embarrassment of going to the counter person. So no excuse for not getting them! At least here in MA you can get them in the grocery store right on the aisle.
