It's obvious that the "That one" remark had racial overtones. I mean, the McCain campaign has been making thinly veiled references, but basically their message is "Do you want that black Muslim extremist as President?"
And did anyone notice how patronizing McCain was to the young black man who asked about Fannie and Freddie?
"You've probably never heard of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac before."
