There is a bus leaving from Showboat at 10:40pm and one from Resorts at midnight. Both are right next to the Taj Mahal and are even connected to it so you don't have to go outside. If you take a casino bus from Port Authority, it's $35 round trip and you get a cash bonus at whatever casino you arrive in. You can then leave from ANY other casino. I've done this numerous times and it really works well. You get to skip the Greyhound terminal and there are buses leaving all times of the night so even if you miss the midnight bus, you can get to another casino's bus center and take a bus from there.
