Three things.
A) Welcome back, we missed you!!
B) He said innuendo, as in implicitly suggesting it. That, and other similar ideas, is what they are playing to when they say "Country First" and whatever else they feel like saying to suggest that Obama is not like everyone else.
C) Obama and Ayers are not the closest of friends and have not seen each other in years. You make it sound like Obama calls him at the end of the day to talk about what happened that day.
