I was in a drug store yesterday and heard
ALAYF. I immediately thought of this thread. I hate to hear it, because they inevitably interrupt the song to make price check announcements or something else equally annoying. It means so much more to hear a rare song like As
Long As You Follow than it does to hear the popular
Hold Me or
Little Lies (which I heard as muzak in my office building on Friday). Somehow the songs sound more beautiful in public than they do on my own stereo.
