Fleetwood Mac’s Lindsey Buckingham may be Warner’s next artist to embrace the dual compressed-and-uncompressed release strategy when his new solo album, “Gift of Screws,” drops Sept. 16.
“I don’t know when we’ll do this again,” Biery said, “but I had Lindsey in my office last week and we were playing the masters and they sound unbelievable. This may be the perfect next release for an audiophile-CD-and-vinyl combo.”
