I don't think I have ever heard anyone refer to it as "real bad" (maybe just not around me
) ...just darker. I personally liked it...not my favorite of the original 3 but it had some great action and humor in it. Saying that, I love Indiana Jones...the character is my favorite movie hero so I'm probably a
tad biased.
