I Googled the date of my first presidential rally, June 2, 1968. It was at the Strawberry Festival. Three days later, he was assasinated. I was nine years old. Incidentially, it was my widely held memory that event cancelled. I found web articles with recollections of him being at that event.  musta been another case of parental BS. |
You're going to the rally at the Coliseum this morning? I have tickets, but I'm still on the fence. I'm sure the place will be packed, though
