"The Dance" by far. The band had become a bit of a joke. All of their releases bombed miserably by their standards. Even if one combines the sales of "Out Of The Cradle," "Street Angel," and "Time," and hell throw in the box set, and it still adds up to a miserable failure. Stevie was headlining quarter-to-half filled venues, Lindsey was downgraded to opening act, and Mick and John's new Fleetwood Mac was part of oldies packages. Christine was the only one smart enough to stay home, realizing they were old and people didn't like them anymore. But, then realizing there was a lot of money to be made, they somehow found a way to bury the hatchet. But, they looked great, sounded great, and played with confidence.
LIB feels like the contractual obligation album by people clearly tired of being around each other. It's nice to have a full show of the set they played over 175 times. My biggest gripe, though, is that the CD was mostly songs that were also on "The Dance." Gee, why not put songs NOT on that album on there? They had to know most people weren't going to play that instead of "The Dance," if for no other reason than "The Dance" has Christine McVie.
