Of the films I preferred Atonement. I thought it was a really good adaption of a really well written book.
Disappointed not to see Kite Runner included. I thought it was brave to film half of it in Dari and the rest in English. I thought that really worked. Disappointed that one significant part of dialogue was missing from the film that is key to the book but nonetheless, it was an excellent film.

I got the message of Kite Runner and I, too, appreciated the bravery you mention. But, the film was just too plodding to me. It was a good film though. On another note, it really showed what I can imagine is a very literal voew of the state of that part of the world. You've seen it. Was it accurate?
