LB is not and never has been only about money. But, to make his records and live the way he does, he needs to have commercial success. So, my point was that in 1990, he had no reason to believe that OOTC would not be a commercial success. His last two solo records sold well and Mirage and TITN were huge sellers as well. Finally, Big Love was a hit single in more than one country. So, I think he would have never gone back to FM in 1990.

I am not saying that in 1990 he want back for those two shows for public exposure. I think he went because he missed FM, esp. La Nicks. The latter being my speculation only.
