He wants to for musical reasons or because he thinks the band's a cash cow? The band's a cash cow only when the zaftig Goddess of Steeds is in it -- that's one of those facts that stare one right in the face -- & she prefers her name
above the title these days, so she does her Enchanted Crystal Visions In Shangri-La tours every year. I can't imagine her enjoying the sensation of having next-to-nothing to do onstage with fourteen grizzly ex-members of the band all jamming away on guitars.

It's kind of puzzling that John never seems to participate in Mick's side bands. We should have asked him about that back when he hung out here. Aren't they still buddies?
