and this then was the first time I ever saw Fleetwood Mac live ..The moments I remember best where the entire performance of SOTM and the Charleston dance that Nicks did at the end of Angel and Nicks leaping off of the ground into the arms of a large man ,presumably a roadie when she left the stage and Christine's Songbird..I was in high school and this was the 4th major concert I had ever been to and the last one of the 1970s ..really the end of an era .It may sound cheesy but when I think of a time when the innocence ended it was not long after this ..Reagan ..AIDS .unbridled greed and so much more were just around the corner .When the 1970s ended that last gasp of what the counterculture meant to me .. .of free love and actually believing that we could change the world and that there would be peace on earth kind of ended for me as well ..this show will always be burned in my memory ..seeing that era of the band at their creative peak in that place and time is very bittersweet and for that reason I will always love them .
