Does anyone else find it odd that they have consolidated the male/female rock vocal performance into a single category? Or that rock is so dead that Lucinda Williams is the only female rocker to get nominated? These are very sad times...
But I am psyched that Herbie Hancock's "River" got nominated for album of the year. That is probably the most unexpected nominee, EVAH. Sure, Kanye West is going to win
, but at least HH and Joni are getting recognized by being nominated.
