There is one song that strongly comes to mind that should have/could have been a Christine McVie/Fleetwood Mac. The song is "Day After Day" by Badfinger --such an aching, beautiful song. My god, that song is so her...not only the melody, but lyrics -- which are undeniably in her style:


I remember finding out about you
Everyday my mind is all around you
Looking out of my lonely room
Day after day
Bring it home, baby, make it soon
I give my love to you


The song was a big hit for Badfinger. If you are not familiar with it, track it down and imagine Christine singing it. I so wish she had wrote and sung it. It's the best Christine song that never was!
