You know, I don't think SYW was a
critical disappointment by any stretch of the imagination. Commercially? Um, I think some people did experience a let down.
As for the label . . . I don't know what to think. I was surprised that Lindsey got the go ahead for not one but TWO solo albums. That did lead me to think that maybe they were indulging him to guarantee future FM endeavors. So, maybe Reprise didn't think SYW was a total waste. Good news for us.
