Any more word on evacuations in Carlsbad? It didn't seem logical to me, considering the distance from Ramona area. My parents live in Carlsbad on the coast, but they've had no word to evacuate.
I have some siblings in Poway, & the kids called me this morning, coughing & wheezing from all the smoke. I told them, Hey, your uncle's eyes are burning too, since I'm 5 miles from the Irvine/Lake Forest fire -- which was set by a friggin' arsonist.
