It is a shame that people would use the book for such purposes. I was always taught that Bible is a guide, a tool - and not a weapon.

Well I didnt mean LITERALLY funny...just funny that, looking back, that someone could even believe the discrimination against blacks, or women was "right" by using the Bible as motivator. It says plainly the Lord is the Lord of all men, regardless of colour and creed, or nation, etc. I would say those passages would make it crystal clear that those preaching such a message are not of God, and to use the Bible as such a weapon for their own gain, or purpose would weed them out as the wolves.
