It's bittersweet in a way.
I am very, very glad Michele has made the decision to purchase. It makes me really glad to know that "one of us" has bought this place, and not a domain collecting agency. So thank you, thank you, thank you, Michele! I wish I could say that I knew you, but I've only seen a few of your posts. You seem like a nice person and an informed fan. I'm looking forward to seeing what you'll do with the ol' place.
At the same time, I'm sad to lose Marty & Lis. Although they've been around less frequently each year that goes by, they have been the absolute best. Every aspect of The Penguin is a treasure, and not many people would have the work ethic - or care for the band and fan community - that it takes to make something so complete. I miss the IRC chat days with these guys (and everyone else). Much love for the entire family, and good luck in the future!
