unfortunately, most of the songs on
under the black light are credited to lewis. frankly, between the two of them, blake is the better musician and much more of a visionary (and if merf were around, she'd come on here and give you the blake diatribe of love and admiration).
if i had to make a parallel between fleetwood mac and rilo kiley apart from what i've just said and the obvious stevie/lindsey relationship-esque stuff, the song to do that with is
dreamworld as it specifically sounds like blake channeled circa 1987 lindsey buckingham.
dreamworld is by far and away the best song on the entire album. hands down...and ironically, jenny had nothing to do with the writing and arrangement apart from added her vocal harmonies -- though they are gorgeous.
