I do think that each decade has has its share of one hit wonders (Haircut 100 anyone
) -- but it seems each decade also had its share of huge talent that defined it - Duran Duran comes to mind in the 80's - though their talent is arguable - that they defined that decade is not - same with Madonna and likely two if not three decade for her (talent aside)
