dude, everybody in this industry has some sort of defect. and by defect, i don't mean "normal, every day problem".
you have a super voice, and voice over work could be a bitchin' side gig for you. you can cut some demos and post through some different agencies.. then charge people out the ass to read an 8.5 x 11 sheet. you don't have to work for a company to do that. it takes you, what, all of 15 minutes to make the cuts, and rates are like $150 + for however much they can fit on one side of one sheet. smaller stations generally go that route for their liner and show production needs... they don't have the luxury of having the money to hire someone just for that purpose. i used to do voice overs for stations around this area, but not anymore. my voice has just dropped a considerable amount (pitch wise), and i'm not comfortable with it anymore. i'm trying to slip out of the field.. slowly but surely. i think this fall/winter and early spring will be my last, but it is something to fall back on 'cuz it's natural to me.

i may be doing some work with at&t in the near future -- and the gig pays WELL

all of the voice work i've done has been FREE -- and shouldn't have been but its given me a mighty nice portfolio.
i wish i had a mac and pro tools -- the pro tools i can get but the mac, not so much. that way, i could record on my own and send.
and i don't care what you say -- you will forever and always be sarah, radio goddess. do you remember when you made your jock record all of that random **** for us? WOK N WOLL!
