they always say that if someone is trying to steal your bag or whatever, just hand it over. it's a good rule, and almost surely the safest bet. i'm just saying i is be the one who forgets that rule and immediately enters fight or flight.
seriously though, i'm glad everything worked out safely, and especially good quick thinking on the 9-1-1 call.

thank you. i appreciate that. really I do. It's just I've still been going through the entire thing in my head every since it happened, wondering if I could have done something differently, and also thinking about what COULD have happened. Also, my main concern was keeping marissa safe, above anything else, so that tends to weigh on me a bit. Nothing happened, and more than likely nothing WAS going to happen. But we didnt' know that and there's no telling what could have happened. crazier things have happened for less. (btw, she was the only other person in the car) and yeah, i've heard that rule too, but throwing a camera on the other side of the pavement would have just pissed him off
especially when he heard all the pieces shatter across the parking lot hahah
but I've always claimed (and still hold the position) that I don't handle situations like this well. I usually panic and freak out. but I appreciate the good thoughts and hopefully I'll never be in that situation again. It sure as hell won't be in Youngstown, I can guarantee you that
