JR is indeed a Congressman. (My mom lives in his district.) He was also one of 20 Congressmen that formally contested certification of the 2000 vote count in Florida. They only needed 1 of the 50 democrats in the Senate to sign on in order for a vote on the objection to take place. Not one of them did so.

Why does criticism = hatred?
I'm with Ryan on this one. The Dems have done nothing but give soundbites since becoming the majority. Yet they've backed down every time it counted. Being blindly loyal to the Dems is no different than the die-hard Bush supporters who would support him even if they personally witnessed him eating babies. (Eating a zygote would be a different matter. His base would burn him at the stake for that.)
