When Jag was rescued from the pound we had him checked out by his vet and he has certain food allergies. He has to eat a special dry food (I'm not at home but it's Hill Prescription Diet z/d or something like that) and you can only buy it with a prescription. It costs $50 a month but Jag stays very healthy and his coat is always very smooth. I won't comment on his poop
