What do you want it for? Just for listening, or are you working on something with it? Just curious.
Bless your heart. It would still be pretty cool to have it played on guitar. I mean, if you can really hear and play the real notes, I would love it either way. I mainly want the notes isolated. Bass is best, but guitar is okay.

The reason I want it, is because I was listening to Angel, again ( ), and I've always loved the bass line, uber. The song is so great all around, but to me the bass line makes the song, it is the greatest part of the great song. Tied with the ending vocals, and the lyrics, and the harmonies.

In this case, I was really listening to the bass specifically note for note (sometimes it is hard to pick out every note and listen, when a whole song is going on, because I also love the rest of the song so much that I get distracted. I mean, that is a killer vocal) and trying to isolate just the bass.

When I did that, it occurred to me that the bass line for Angel is so good, and so full (as opposed to spare, which bass lines mostly are, except John's are usually fuller than most, which is why I love him, and why he is invaluable to all the songs), that it is practically a whole song in itself.

So then I wanted to hear that great "song", without all the other band/vocal around it, so that I could really hear what it was. I just love it so much, and it is so busy and tuneful for a bass line, that I want to hear it by itself.
See? Does that make sense?
Whatever you can figure out would be way cool.
I love to learn about the music of music, all the little bits, the intricacies, and I love to practice it, but I don't comparatively have quite the natural talent and facility for it that I should have had. Like, birthright denied, Doh! lol.
So I actually have to learn it, rather than it being more natural. *sigh*

Then, of course, once I knew the bass line, I would have to sing it. It's all a plot to add to the instrument parts that I have to sing with every song. Usually I can only glean the guitar parts, and I can't sing the drums...so...and the harmonies are an ongoing project...

This is the part where I wish my parents had told me to take up a stringed instrument, or piano, instead of the flute and alto sax. Thanks, mom n dad. Realleh. Sinisterily, they both play stringed instruments and piano, very well. *narrows eyes suspiciously at mom and dads plot*
It is sad when you leave your child with only the tools to sing the instrument parts...especially when said child doesn't sing that well....

And P.S. for Sarah - thank you as well. I have seen that he has good tabs, too, though they are useless to me. But if you happen upon them, and can play stuff, that would kick much ass. Big ass. "I Like Big Butts and I Cannot Lie" ass. Yes, it would be that good. Sir Mix a Lot good.
