AFter reading a few threads saying that she really isn't into writing any new stuff, will she really be into giving everyone a good show? It seems to me that Lindsey is almost starting a new career going solo and she is on the tail end of hers. In fact, i haven't even gone out and purchased the new 'best of' collection yet. it's just the same old stuff with her. i'm bored with Stevie now. Is there anyone who can convince me to go see her on her upcoming tour?

I won't even try to convince you, because if you need to be convinced that she's not boring, and you don't see the point in checking out a live performance of the "same old stuff," there is no reason to force yourself.
On the other hand, I saw Lindsey just once on this tour and was quite satisfied with that one time. I enjoyed myself and he totally rocked, but I just don't feel the same connection to him and his music as I do to Stevie. In fact, Lindsey was performing less than an hour from my house last month and I chose to fly across the country to Vegas to see Stevie that same night instead.
I do suggest that you watch the CV DVD before you make your decision though. If there ever was a time that you appreciated and loved Stevie for her pure Stevieness, the DVD will remind you. Her video commentaries are hilarious, the videos show her in all of her fabulous 80s glory, and it's hard not to appreciate the inside glimpse into the making of Bella Donna. If that reinvigorates you, then go see a Stevie show and see what you think. If you can't even bring yourself to watch the the DVD, then save your money for Lindsey and don't worry about it.
