The documentary makers may have attempted to interview Danny Kirwan, but I have no idea what shape he's in these days - it may just not have been workable.
It would be a shame if there's not some older video footage in the documentary that we haven't seen before, but it seems like most of the attention has been given to the interviews (judging from the YouTube trailer, anyway). I think you're right, Wouter, there just has to be more old footage someplace, but who knows if anyone will be able to locate it (or even try).
