When I read those words from her, it was the moment I lost a lot of interest and respect for her. When an artist like Stevie gives up creating because of a lack of radio play, I don't get it. She needs to just retire if that's how she feels. I saw her during her first round in Vegas, and she seems to be phoning it in - the passion and excitement she used to have is gone.
I concur .I'd rather see her retire than become some kind of an oldies act with an ever diminishing audience of boomers showing up to see the same songs year after year.I'm still in love with the old Stevie ..the one that can be seen in the making of Bella Donna on the DVD that is why I stick around and hope that she has a change of heart.
