After he introduced the band and the keyboardist/bassist (who was amazing btw) introduced him, he talked about how supportive they are of his ecclectic writing habits and how great of an energy they all have on stage, he said something along the lines of: "I look forward to the current project and the year to come, as well as the big project to come later next year."
(How's that for a long sentence?)
I was waiting for the "Mac" chants to start, but half of the crowd was drunk and talking. Oh yeah, and how embarrasing when he made several comments about the people who wouldn't stop talking. He reflected on a past performance years ago when he stopped in the middle of the song and yelled out "Shut Up!" to the crowd... As he shouted it into ours. Later he made a marijuana reference to the back corners and said he knew that the talkers were all doing coke.
Such disrespect, I was glad that good fans, such as myself, were able to be in the front.
