Brian, I have no idea about the Zoo Amp. So those Gold section seats. Are they just $75 for all events, and have you ever been there? Whats it like? Not a bad seat?
Those VIP (aka reserved seating - If the show has reserved seating the prices are usually around $75 a ticket) section of seats are located right in front of the stage, so except for those who have purchased either the "Gold" or "Platinum" packages, those are the seats to be in if you want to be able to do the "Edge of Seventeen" stage rush.

The Zoo Amphitheater is not a bad venue, it has been upgraded alot as of late (Obviously since it is owned by the OKC Zoo who have spent alotta $$$ to make it a better facility than it used to be).

If you drive in from Wichita you should have no problem at all finding the OKC Zoo since it is located directly off of I-35.

Wished the medical bills didnt kill our nest-egg, I would have joined the VIP Platinum package club:

"Platinum Package $1500: includes seating for Seated Shows or standing for Standing Room Shows directly in front of the stage. For seated shows, there are only four rows and you will have the same specific seats for every show, separated from the rest of the audience and so close you can almost touch the artists. The Platinum Package also includes the VIP deck with air conditioned bathrooms, full service alcohol bar, a gourmet food bar, plasma screens of the shows with a laminated VIP Pass and where available, meet and greets with some of the bands. The VIP experience is truly a concert enthusiasts dream come true. Up close and personal with your favorite bands."
