I don't think you're in the minority at all. I know more people who hated high school than didn't. I fall somewhere in the middle.
I had a great time, but was so lucky to go to the school I went to at the time I did. There were so many gay kids at each of the three schools in my town - at night and on weekends we'd all hang out at a local coffee shop...and I had band, yes, I was a complete band geek.
Now would I go back and do it again? No. No. and NO.
But I will be going to (and possibly planning) my ten year reunion - which is next year
