Well, I happen to think that lesbians in general are very shrewd in financial matters, whereas gay men tend to be a bit flaky. Just my own anecdotal observations.
In any case, since she does talk a lot about herself on her show, I think it has been rather glaring that she has never mentioned the "other half" in her life. I suspect now that she is out of the closet she will be all "my partner this, my partner that, my partner and I, etc." Just look at Rosie- you can't get her to shut her trap about her partner.
