I guess the old saying is true, you have to want to do something. Honest to God, Amber, I admit I am exceedingly stubborn when it comes to this stuff. I'm usually a pretty level-headed, rational person -- but when it comes to eating right and exercising, my mind screams "PUNISHMENT!!!"
I look at all the people who say, "ohh, I'd love to have a Big Mac -- but I can't because I'm watching what I eat," or "I'm so hungry for bread right now, but it's not allowed on my diet," and I think "no freakin' way -- I'm eating what I want and when I want it."
Which I know is not really the right attitude.
Anyway, like I said, I know that it's my fault that I've gained weight. I also know what I need to do to lose it. I'm just not in the mindframe right now to want to.
And I still think McDonald's doesn't need to be banned.

That's what I think almost all the time, too, and I kind of think in part it
is the right attitude. The thing is
wanting to eat different things. I don't eat things that are good for me that I don't
like. Except, of course, for the unrefined Coconut Oil...
I mean, think about strawberries. Strawberries are SO GOOD, plus they're really good for you. Who wouldn't want to eat them? There is tons of food like that.
I'm lucky in that I like to exercise, and that I have to in order to get places (

) but I still have to push myself to do it many times. And I eat like a poor white trash pig many times, as well.

Last weekend most of my dietary intake was from the cheese and cracker and cookie groups. But I know that I also like to eat healthy food, so, you know, whatever.
And there is still overwhelming evidence that the entire natural world and humans would be way, way better off without McDonalds.
