My mom had a similar experience. In her early 20's she was very sick and was bed ridden in her room. She then had an outter body experience and saw herself lying in her bed while she was floating up in the air. My mom never really shared that until years later because she knew some folks would think she was nuts. But I totally believe those type of things can happen.
