o.k. let me just say, as much as I made out to like gum, I equally like chap stick.
but as covered in the this or that thread, carmex is for chapped lips, "chap stick" is for prevention.
we give away chap stick at my office with our logo on it, so I have an unlimited supply. basically. I have a tube in my purse, car, nightstand, and one I keep in my jacket at work. I get pissy when i don't have my chapstick
