Stevie Nicks Obtains Restraining Order Against Fan
Fleetwood Mac singer Stevie Nicks was granted a restraining order Tuesday against a Denver mental patient who allegedly believes that she is a witch who can cure him of his homosexuality. L.A. Superior Court Commissioner James
Endman's order came after a request filed Monday by an attorney for the 50-year-old rock icon. It bars the alleged fan, Ronald Anacelteo, 38, from all concerts, venues or recording studios where Nicks is present, as well as from her home. According to court documents, Anacelteo is a "self-proclaimed homosexual [who] believes that Ms. Nicks possesses a spiritual healing power that will enable him to get along with others and find a woman to marry. He believes that Ms. Nicks is a witch who possesses the power to heal him. He believes that he will be able to absorb this spiritual power if he is able to get close to her."
When asked about Stevie says (HX Magazine)
Interviewer:I read that a few years ago you had a gay stalker in Denver who believed you could cure his homosexuality.
Stevie:I never heard that one. [Laughs.]
