I've been helping out there for a few years now, and I do like it, but it's really boring after a while. It's very repetitive doing the same task over and over for eight hours, and the fumes from the shrink-wrap machine get me really high. But I only do it a few days a week, and the pay is good, so I can't complain.
I really want to work in music, but not as a musician. Unless you make it big, it doesn't pay the bills, and performing is something I love, and the thought of that as a "job" freaks me out. I'd love to be a music journalist, a photographer, a fashion designer, a cosmetologist, a promoter, or an A&R rep. Something like that. I did consider becoming a psychologist, a lawyer, or a social worker, but I just don't have the right personality.
If I move to a bigger city, like NYC, I want to get into pinup modeling, and gogo dancing, more as a hobby than a job, but you can get paid for that kind of stuff. And it's loads of fun. Someday, I want to start my own record label, run my own venue, and open up a record store. Probably won't happen, but I want to do at least one of those things.
