Racehorse feet are just a nightmare - fractures and then laminitis can lead to so many complications and like in this case, you can throw millions at the problem and still not win through. 95% of horses would've been euthanised on the spot after the leg break, to be honest, so it's a testament to his connections that they helped him live those extra few months. It's such a shame that all those great efforts didn't produce a happier outcome
