I kind of like that. It is like they are the only band cool enough to justify putting out an 8 track when they were way outdated.
We had an 8 track in our car, through my highschool years, way outdated. My dad found it, installed it, and found some good tapes in second hand stores. My faves were Sim and Garf greatest hits, Surrealistic Pillow, Dr. Hook and the Medicine Show, Bob Seger greatest hits.
Now, of course, they have super awesome stereos in their old ass cars.
