The only body of water around would be Town Lake, which other critters also drink from (ducks, coons, possums, bats, rats, etc.). I'm thinking the birds were poisoned on purpose, as awful as that is...the dead birds were in such a small area - that's the only thing that makes sense to me. Some a-hole probably got tired of them pooping on his BMW.
