THe thing about that house is it is not a huge house, but, as an architect, he built the hell out of the space. The hinges on the doors alone made we weak in the knees. AND - you shoulda seen me sweeping down that staircase in a ballgown!!

I always go with quality over size... um, er... well...
almost always.
It's always disappointing to go into these large, stately houses only to find hollow-core doors, bad wallpaper and avocado green appliances.
So was this ballgown thing a regular occurrence or what??
