My Moms friend and her husband had a cat for several years. It was spoiled rotten. A few years after the cat died, they decided to get another one from a shelter. They had to fill out paperwork and answer some questions, yada yada yada. They were denied because they said they would let the cat out, if it wanted to go outside. That is absurd to me!
