That's right, Cheney was trying to insinuate that Edwards was never around Washington -- shirking his Senate responsibilities-- because of his run for President.
This was also the debate where Cheney said he didn't know African-American women were severely impacted by HIV/AIDS. Something a man in his position should have known.
