Not only are they hoping that this discovery will be able to test family members of diabetics for the onset, they are saying that this breakthrough could actually
reverse the disease in type 1 patients. They are going to start clinical studies on humans as soon as January and hopefully have a cure in 2 years. I can't believe this! My Christmas came early this year! If I could only ask for one thing for Christmas for the rest of my life, it would be for my son to be cured of this horrible disease.
