things i love about the gap:
- i know what size i am there. their sizes are consistent. i never try things on. they always just fit.
- the jeans. they go on sale. they're massively cheap. got a pair for $20 a few weeks ago - get more compliments on them than any of my others.
- the built-in support bra type tank tops. love. them. in the summer, they're all i wear.
- the basics - you know you can get 'em anytime. black pants. white shirt. every colour tee, long sleeve or short.
that being said... i shop there less and less. though, i really think it's because i'm getting too old for it.

i must say, i did buy THE greatest black cotton knit cardigan at a gap in london this past summer - it looks and feels like cashmere. never saw it at a canadian gap. i wear it far more often than i should. but most of my wardrobe now comes from
banana republic. further proof, i may just be getting old.
