Totally agree. That was one of those shows where the original cast had almost too much chemistry that could not be reproduced.
The political rantings on Designing Women got overbearing and incredibly unenertaining. I think they call that professional suicide????
It was also one of those shows that should have been taken out of it's misery at least a couple of seasons earlier..... ie, Will & Grace, Roseanne, Seinfeld, Cheers, Cosby, etc., etc.
