I just got back from the show! Lindsey was fantastic. He started the show off slow, and then it really took off! Mostly people stayed seated, as it was a small theatre (880 people). I liked the mix of songs, but I wanted something from my favorite album: Out of the Cradle. No luck.
Tusk, Go Insane, and Big Love are always my faves, and I was happy to hear the new stuff. I think the highlight was
Holiday Road, for sure. At the beginning Lindsey said that we should help with the end of the song. It was the guys barking, and the audience wasn't playing along. Hopefully we didn't disappoint Lindsey. He said "
see ya next year" as he left, so that's good sign. Speaking of signs, there was an
INSANE FOR LINDSEY gal a couple rows ahead of me, who used her banner to block my view.
The merch booth was pleasing, except they didn't provide shopping bags. I had to carry my goodies along with my coat, etc. but it worked out okay. It just makes stage-rushing difficult, which didn't even happen. You would have thought someone had told these security guards that the Beatles were playing! They really kept the crowd in check, as if that had been necessary.
It was really nice, except for the crazy security guards and VOLUNTEER ushers, who, apparently were punishing and then confiscating the cameras of some of the guests. I was scolded early on for using my camera (it wasn't posted anywhere that cameras weren't allowed) but snuck a few pics. They turned out blurry because I wasn't using flash.
I was lucky to meet a new friend, and fellow Ledgie
DesertAngel before the show and she told me where the tour bus was. We waited in line and got a chance to meet Lindsey and get his autograph and photos! In the one I took of DesertAngel, Lindsey actually looked at the camera! (Sorry about the flash!) And DesertAngel, the one you got of Lindsey signing for me is wonderful! Although, Lindsey didn't look too thrilled to be signing all those CD covers. ;-P
I spotted Lindsey's wife, Kristen, who looked like Kristen Bell (Veronica Mars). She was tiny and blonde. Also, Brett spoke to me about my hair, and agreed to a photo. I guess Neal popped in at the last second.

Overall it was a great experience, and worth the $45 for the ticket. After all, I'm sure we've all paid $100+ to see Stevie (c'mon, admit it). Anyhow, if anyone got any video/audio clips, I'd love to see/hear them!!!!!!!!
