They showed a clip on TV this morning. All he did was sing along with a prerecorded track of We Are the World. And he barely did that, just let out a peep here & there & clapped his hands a lot. Of course, there were 500 kids on stage behind him swaying & claping too. Ugh. Gross.
How can someone so brilliantly talented end up such a joke? I mean, to compare someone who was popular at the same time, Prince is a little odd too, but he doesn't have child abuse accusations swirling around him constantly, he still puts out good new music, and he's still a kickass performer.
I don't get it. I don't know whther to feel sad or digusted.
