Well, I've known David since waaay before the Ledge, going back to Usenet. I don't remember exactly, but probably since 1997 or so.
Maybe he didn't know how much he meant, to alot of us. I just hate to think that he'd leave us, without saying goodbye. Especially since a couple of us have left him voicemails, and sent emails, concerned about his well being.
Hopefully, he may come back.
